Empire awarded Ontario Sport Citation

Empire Financial Group was presented with an Ontario Sport Citation Award on April 7 at a ceremony held at the Ontario Science Centre. The Award recognizes our support of amateur athletes, particularly our five-year sponsorship of Olympic triathlete, Sharon Donnelly, which recently ended upon her retirement from competition.

"We are very proud of this recognition and are thankful for the opportunity to share in Sharon’s many accomplishments," says Doug Hogeboom, Empire’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Sharon competed in the 2000 Summer Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia and is a three-time Canadian champion.
