BUSCHO, ROBERT; MD
Robert Buscho, MD is a staff physician at Seton Medical Center, where he has practiced since 1977. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis and his medical degree from Stanford University. Dr. Buscho completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. Following his internship, Dr. Buscho served as Senior Assistant Surgeon with the National Institute of Health, where he was part of the group to first identify the Norwalk agent.
As a partner in CEP, Dr. Buscho has served as a member of the Board of Directors and the Partnership Affairs Committee. He is Chairman of the Retirement and Benefits Committee and, during his term, the retirement plan has grown from 2 million to approximately 350 million dollars.
He also has served on the founding board of MedAmerica Mutual. Dr. Buscho is currently active at Seton Medical Center, serving on the Executive Committee. He is also a member of the EMS Committee of San Mateo County. Of his contributions to CEP, he is most proud of his accomplishments on the Retirement and Benefits Committee. His favorite pastimes include gardening hiking in the Trinity Alps and skiing.
