William Harrington is a graduate from University of Miami School of Medicine Residency Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami which is affiliated Medical Education Program. William Harrington’s clinical interest is in hematology, hematological malignancies, HIV- and human T-cell leukemia virus type I HTLV-I-related lymphoma. And his research interest is in anitvirals, chemotherapy, and/or interferon to treat patients with HIV-related large cell, immunoblastic lymphoma, Burkitt's lymphoma.
William Harrington is the faculty member of Miller School of Medicine in the division of Hematology and Oncology. Joseph D. Rosenblatt, M.D is the Chief of the division William is the professor of medicine. William Harrington’s practice location is in the University of Miami Hospital and Clinics and University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center.
The Division of Hematology/Oncology provides medical oncologic and hematologic services to Jackson Memorial Hospital, UM/Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, and the Miami Veterans Administration Hospital. The division sees over five thousand newly referred cancer patients per year and a large variety of patients with hematologic illnesses as well. The unique and diverse population base provides unparalleled training and research opportunities
