Robert Henry, MD Professor of Medicine, Department of Medicine, University of California, San Diego and Chief, Section of Endocrinology, Metabolism & Diabetes, VA Medical Center, San Diego Professor Henry is an internationally renowned clinical investigator, scientist and speaker.
Robert Henry received his medical degree from the University Of Manitoba School Of Medicine where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism.
Robert Henry has a rare combination of experience in both clinical trials and fundamental basic research to conduct clinical translation studies. Dr. Henry is on the Board of Directors of the American Diabetes Association and the Executive Committee of the VA Cooperative Study of Glycemic Control in Diabetes, Type 2. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and Edinburgh and is on the Editorial Boards of The Endocrinologist and Diabetes Reviews.
Robert Henry is currently Chair of the Veterans Medical Research Foundation Advisory Research Committee and a consultant and reviewer to the NIH, ADA, VA as well as many pharmaceutical companies.
