NEW YORK, Jan 30, 2006 -- Lexington Insurance Company, a member company of American International Group, Inc. (AIG), today announced the expansion of online training on its Website,lexeplhelp.com for customers carrying employment practices liability (EPL) insurance. Launched in 1999 and formerly called eplselect.com, the Website was developed to provide EPL insureds with free risk management resources and training tools.

Created as a complimentary value added service for Lexington's EPL insureds,lexeplhelp.com was designed to help employers establish workplaces free from discrimination and harassment. The Website includes management training tutorials on discrimination, harassment, evaluations, discipline, and termination as well as resource rich Human Resource tools such as best workplace practices manuals, management guidelines, policies, forms, employee handbooks and FAQs, on commonly encountered employee relations issues.

"Because of the specialized liability concerns of employers, we created lexeplhelp.com to provide our insureds with a variety of resources to assist in maintaining professional and discrimination-free work environments," said Ellen Hoadley, Director of Risk Management, Lexington Insurance Company.

For California-based insureds, lexeplhelp.com offers training that helps employers comply with California's new Assembly Bill (AB) 1825. AB 1825, intended to prevent workplace sexual harassment, requires employers with supervisory authority over California employees to take two hours of anti-harassment training every year. The Website also provides resources and information specific to California workplace laws.

In addition to the expanded Website, Lexington is providing two new services for its EPL insureds: an initial EPL risk evaluation, and a comprehensive policy review and analysis. Upon binding an EPL policy with Lexington, policyholders now will receive a complementary telephone consultation with one of the leading employment law firms to review and consult on their current personnel policies and practices. Lexington is also offering the service of an online HR policy review and analysis by a premier legal compliance and training company. Following the online review, Lexington's EPL insureds will receive a comprehensive assessment of current employment practices with suggestions for enhancements.
