Rahn Bailey, M.D., is a double board certified psychiatrist and is currently Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, Director of the Program of Law and Psychiatry at the University of Texas at Houston Medical School, Staff Physician at Harris County Psychiatric Center in Houston, and Director of the Division of Law and Psychiatry at the University of Texas Medical School Department of Psychiatry. Rahn Bailey received his forensic training at Yale University Division of Law and Psychiatry.
Rahn Bailey is a national forensic expert, who has testified and participated in both civil and criminal cases both locally and nationally. Of particular note, he is the psychiatrist for the state of Texas who performs the Sexually Violent Predator evaluations. Rahn Bailey performs evaluations and provides treatment for the United States Probation Office and the Texas Rehabilitation Commission.
Rahn Bailey also serves as chairman of the psychiatry section of the National Medical Association, based professional organization of black doctors, suggests several actions company owners and managers can take to make their workplaces less stressful and more efficient. He ensures that adequate lines of communication are open between staff and mid-level managers. He makes everyone aware of workplace expectations, safety rules, and procedures and realizes that one size does not fit all. Managers need to tune into the unique perspectives of individual employees.
