Jasmer, Robert; MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine, University of California, San Francisco.
 
Dr. Robert Jasmer received his B.A. from Harvard in 1986 and M.D. from Washington University in 1990. After internship, residency and chief residency at Stanford, he became a pulmonary and critical care fellow at the University of California San Francisco, UCSF and then joined the faculty there in 1997.
 
Dr. Jasmer also serves as the Associate Program Director for the Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Training Program at UCSF and directs the UCSF Pulmonary and Critical Care CME Program. He is also the co-director of the medical intensive care unit at San Francisco General Hospital and a staff physician at the San Francisco Tuberculosis Clinic.
 
His major academic activities include clinical research in tuberculosis and critical care medicine, and medical education. He has published numerous research articles and a book relating to tuberculosis and was asked to be a member of the writing committee for the recently published Treatment of Tuberculosis guidelines.
