NGUYEN, ANH; MD

Linda Anh B. Nguyen, M.D., under the direction of Dr. William J. Snape, Jr., finished a three year Gastroenterology fellowship with California Pacific in June of 2005.

Anh B. Nguyen has accomplished most of her education from the state of California; she is board-certified in Internal Medicine, completing her residency at California Pacific in 2002 after receiving her medical degree at UCLA.

In 2000 Dr. Nguyen was voted Intern of the Year at California Pacific Medical Center and in 2005 received the Young Investigator’s Award from the International Electrogastrography Society.

She is currently involved as a co-investigator in a Delayed Gastric Emptying Cohort study being conducted at California Pacific Medical Center’s Research Institute. As a medical student she assisted in the development and organization of a clinical study at UCLA comparing the pulsatile secretion of insulin and glucagon in individuals with type 2 diabetes.

Dr. Nguyen has four research abstracts presented this year at Digestive Diseases Week and the 14th Annual American Motility Society meeting.
