Dr. Lynne Susan Steinbach has completed her education in New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia and California. She completed her B.A. in Human Biology in 1972 to 75 from Stanford University situated in Palo Alto, California. She completed her M.D. in 1975 to 79 from The Medical College of Pennsylvania situated in Philadelphia, PA. In 1979 to 80 from New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry Newark, New Jersey she completed her Intern in Internal Medicine. In 1980 to 83 she completed her resident in Diagnostic Radiology from The New York Hospital, Cornell University situated in New York, NY. In 1983 to 84 she completed her fellow in Musculoskeletal Radiology from Hospital for Special Surgery, Cornell University situated in New York, NY.

She also has a special interest in MR arthrography, cartilage imaging, and MRI of the elbow, muscle trauma, ankle, wrist and hip. Dr. Steinbach is also an authority on musculoskeletal manifestations of AIDS. She has been involved in several projects and co edited a book on this subject. Dr. Steinbach also has interests in arthritis, infection, musculoskeletal tumors and osteoporosis.
